Management Profiles

The Endeavour team has over 45 staff members consisting of management, consultants, sales/marketing and accounts with branches in Auckland, Hamilton, Christchurch, Wellington and Australia.

All employees of Endeavour are highly qualified in each of their roles, with many coming from accountancy backgrounds, tertiary educated and members of the Chartered Accountants Association. Endeavour team members have differences that you can count on, Experience, Affinity and Integrity.

Chris Miller – Managing Director

Chris Miller - Managing DirectorChris Miller has been in the IT industry for over 30 years. He started out as a programmer in corporations such as the Post Office and BP New Zealand and moved into Paxus Corporations as a specialist in Manufacturing and Distribution systems. Chris setup his own company in 1986 with the idea of servicing the construction industry and as a result became a reseller of the CBA Business system. Over the next 10 years or so, he built a client base of over 200 customers, providing business solutions based software and custom developments.

Chris was instrumental in the early development of the Greentree product and retains close ties with the Greentree organisation. He is involved in the sales side of Endeavour as well as having management input into the consulting and development departments of the business. Chris enjoys all aspects of the business and is happy to roll up his sleeves and help out where needed.

Tim Ryley – Greentree Director

Tim Ryley - Development DirectorTim offers skills that benefit our clients in his understanding of business objectives and his ability to tailor IT solutions appropriate for each situation. Tim has a strong understanding of technology but applies it in practical and effective ways to assist clients without letting the client drown in the jargon, complexity and overkill so often associated with IT. Tim has 20 years experience deploying solutions for companies across many industries, organisation types and technologies. He has a bachelor of commerce degree from Otago University and started his career in IT while working as a chartered accountant for Ernst & Young.

Peter Hooker – Services Director

Peter Hooker - Consulting Director

Peter heads up our Services team, and is also responsible for the Sage Product range, including Sage Accpac ERP, Sage Pro and Sage CRM.

After completing a Bachelor of Commerce at Otago, Peter worked for a number of years for a Chartered Accounting firm managing their IT division, before heading to London for his big OE. Peter spent 5 years as the IT manager for a luggage retailer, having exposure to full manufacturing through to warehousing and retail sales. Back in New Zealand, Peter spent 7 years as the IT manager for Grant Thornton, specialising in the ACCPAC product range, until the merger of the IT division with Professional Software to form Globaltech Solutions Ltd and subsequent merger with Endeavour Solutions Ltd.

Peter and Liz have 3 children, and is still playing competitive hockey and trying to keep some degree of fitness, and enjoys the odd round of golf.

Aaron Wright-St.Clair – Business Development Manager

Aaron Wright-St.Clair - Business Development ManagerAaron has successfully owned and operated his own business providing management, marketing and IT solutions to a wide range of clients. Prior to owning his own business he has held several management positions in the media and retail industries and gained a wealth of experience and expertise in relationship marketing, strategy development and business planning. As an account manager for an IT company and through his use of Greentree he discovered his true passion was software – “hardware is only as good as the software running it” and joined the Endeavour team in 2004 to discover the true power of financial accounting software.

David White – Client Support Manager

David White - Client Support ManagerDavid is an experienced Accountant who has worked in the IT industry since 1997. He has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1985 and has worked in many industries including manufacturing, utilities and retail. David is an experienced Systems Consultant who has been involved with Greentree since its initial development in the late 90’s. David focuses on being responsive to the customer’s needs, Reporting and the QlikView product.

David and Karen have two girls, and is reasonably active with mountain biking, running, tennis and fishing. A holiday at the beach with the Girls is the favoured past-time these days.

Ian Douglas – Service Delivery Manager

Ian Douglas - Service Delivery ManagerIan joined GlobalTech in January 2007 in the role of Service Delivery Manager, although Ian did work 2 years part time as a consultant for GlobalTech prior to leaving the workforce to complete his Bachelor of Commerce and Management degree in 2004. Ian has a broad background in accounting, administration management, IT consulting and project management.

Away from the office Ian can be found out on the Port Hill’s trying very hard not to fall off his mountain bike, or on the occasional tramp, and generally enjoying the great outdoors with his partner Sonya and their two dogs. Since joining GlobalTech he has noticed a certain amount of pressure to take up golf.

Larry Stenberg – Service Delivery Manager

Larry Stenberg - Service Delivery ManagerLarry has worked in senior finance, operations and IT roles for over twenty years and in over a dozen different industry sectors. Roles have included National Operations Manager, Finance Director, Controller of Acquisitions as well as Board Directorships. Having met his wife in the UK he lived there for nearly 10 years, and in that time completed his MBA at Warwick University, to accompany his CA from NZ.

He oversees the delivery of all services and customisations out of the Auckland office for both new and existing clients. He specialises in project management, systems analysis and business re-engineering.

Melanie Smith – Development Manager

Melanie Smith  - Development ManagerMelanie has been in the IT industry all her working life, starting as a Computer Operator in the Accounts Department of a large manufacturing company in the 1980s. Melanie moved through the ranks of the software development world and rose to the position of Software Development Manager for a large International Solutions company.

Whilst a good part of Melanie’s career has been related to ERP systems, she has also spent time project managing large custom software development projects within New Zealand Insurance and Energy sectors.

Sonia Elliot – Senior Account Manager

Sonia Elliot - Business Development ManagerSonia has been working in IT a number of years and with Greentree since it was released. Sonia has completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Auckland University majoring in Accounting and Finance. She has worked with a number of different business systems over the years and in many roles; training, programming, consulting, sales and management.

Sonia also spend some time working with Hyperion / Oracle Business Intelligence and Budgeting and Planning and from this experience developed a passionate for right sized systems that fit customer needs for timely accurate information.

Tessa Deenik – Business As Usual (BAU) Manager

Tessa Deenik - BAU ManagerTessa has worked for Endeavour since 2003 as part of the Consulting (Business As Usual) Team.  She has worked in various IT roles starting at a position with PricewaterhouseCoopers in GTS working on helpdesk and internal support.

From there she moved through to MCS working in Consulting and Development, and then onto Business Systems Support for external clients.  Since working at Endeavour, Tessa has become a Payroll Partner Expert for Greentree.  She is married and has two children.

Yong Keat Wong – Business Development Manager

Yong Keat Wong - Business Development ManagerYong Keat has been working in the ERP industry most of his working life. He initially started out working as a programmer and since then has been involved in implementation/consulting, pre-sales and sales. He also has a passion for Business Intelligence, having some experience with products such as Brio, Hyperion and Business Objects

In his spare time he plays tennis and table tennis. He is a Manchester United supporter and enjoys watching the Grand Slams of tennis, especially when Federer or Nadal is playing.

Anna Rizio – Consulting Manager Australia

Anna Rizio - Consulting ManagerAnna is Consulting Manager at the Australian office. Anna is responsible for the Greentree and CBA consulting services & managing the Australian client base.

She has been working with financial software for many years, having first worked with the CBA product some 25 years ago at a chartered accounting firm. She then spent a number of years working at the Automation One help desk providing assistance to the then CBA reseller base.

Anna established Gretal Consulting in 1988, seeing an opportunity to provide quality personalized and effective support for clients using the CBA product range. She took on the Greentree product in 2002, quickly establishing a Greentree client base and building up a skill set on the core financial and distribution modules.

Robert Rizio – Systems Manager Australia

Robert Rizio - Director & Systems ManagerRobert is Systems/Hardware Manager at the Australian office. Robert manages the networking and hardware aspects of clients systems.

When Anna started Gretal Consulting, the client base grew quickly and there was a real need for someone to provide technical support and installation services. Robert stepped into the role, Robert is proficient at configuring systems to optimize CBA and Greentree performance.

Robert & Anna’s roles within the Australian operation complement each other; providing clients with a comprehensive IT solution. They have 3 children, and the whole family are avid skiers and snowboarders – always trying to maximize time ‘on the hill’ each season.
