Participants will gain an enhanced understanding of the administration of a Greentree system, learn about some recent changes and options for setup and running the software. This is a hands-on course/workshop aimed at administrators of systems that run the Greentree software.
Course Objectives
On completion of this 1 day course, participants will:
- Understand the different options for Greentree backups
- Be able to determine if their site’s backup is working successfully
- Be able to set up new printers for the Greentree software to use
- Understand the various queues in Greentree and be able to determine if they are working correctly
- Describe the purpose of the database server and application server, and determine if they are running on a system
- Be able to set up a new workstation/user to run Greentree
- Set up an Excel add-in on a workstation
- Set up an ODBC connection to Greentree on a workstation
- Have a basic understanding of the Greentree upgrade process
*The course will be run on the Greentree demonstration software.
